Bald Hills is a boutique vineyard shaped by rugged landscapes, meticulous craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the land. First planted in 1997, the Bannockburn vineyard sits in one of the world’s most celebrated Pinot Noir regions, where long, dry autumns and dramatic temperature shifts create wines of purity, intensity, and unmistakable Central Otago character.

From the beginning, Bald Hills has been guided by a simple belief: exceptional wine starts with exceptional land. As an accredited member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand, the vineyard embraces environmentally responsible practices—from soil-focused viticulture to organic principles—to nurture vine health and protect the land for future generations.

Today, Bald Hills is home to 7 hectares of premium Pinot Noir and small, carefully tended parcels of Riesling and Pinot Gris. These varieties thrive in the vineyard’s sunny, sheltered, and secluded site, producing wines known for their balance, texture, and expressive aromatics.
