Established in 1988, Amisfield is a specialist in Pinot Noir and aromatic varieties based in Central Otago. The winery crafts its wines from a single estate vineyard located at the foothills of the Pisa Range, shaped by ancient glacial activity.

The Amisfield vineyard is certified organic by BioGro New Zealand. Vineyard management takes a holistic approach, with a strong focus on soil development, vine health, and the surrounding ecosystem. Combined with the region’s harsh inland environment and extreme semi-continental climate, this results in wines of remarkable purity, concentration, and vibrancy.

The state-of-the-art, purpose-built winery is an integral part of the estate, designed to allow the winemaking team to produce wines with minimal intervention, expressing the vineyard as naturally as possible.
