Picture this: A hot, Hawke’s Bay summer day winds down, and three friends are sitting in the warm evening air, enjoying a glass of exceptional local wine. They’ve heard rumblings that the region’s iconic Thames Street Winery is for sale, and an idea is sparked — should we buy it? Haven’t we all fantasized about getting together with friends and buying a winery? Well, they actually did it.

Ka Tahi translates to “The One” in Māori. As Kiwis, we honour and embrace te reo Māori as an integral part of our culture.
