Forrest Wines is built on a foundation of precision, curiosity, and a fearless approach to winemaking. Dr. John Forrest (PhD in neurophysiology) and Dr. Brigid Forrest (a medical doctor) swapped lab coats for vineyard boots in 1988, pioneering a bold new chapter in Marlborough’s wine scene.

Today, daughter and winemaker Beth Forrest continues that spirit, exploring new varietals while refining Marlborough classics. We explore alternative varieties alongside Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir and are known for pioneering naturally lighter-alcohol wines through innovative canopy management rather than winery intervention. Every wine begins in the vineyard, guided by a deep understanding of the land.
